The Torchlighters Society

The Torchlighters Society was established to recognize those donors who have remembered the university in their estate plans or have made a new planned gift outside of their estate, lighting the way for students, faculty, patients, the local community, Alabama, and beyond. Our donors are one of our most valuable assets, and we honor those who invest in the future of UAB with membership in the Society.

Benefits of membership in the Torchlighters Society include a lapel pin signifying your commitment to the future of UAB, a certificate of membership, an invitation to Society appreciation events, and opportunities to gather with UAB administrators, faculty, students, and other university supporters.

Many of our alumni and friends have let us know they have made estate provisions that will one day benefit UAB. As you can imagine, such gifts make a tremendous difference in the quality of the programs and services the university can provide moving forward. If you have made arrangements for a deferred gift to UAB, we hope you'll let us know so we can welcome you into the Torchlighters Society.
